We all know that nothing goes better with Mini Truckers than the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. And reall, what more could you want out of life? Well, how about Mini Trucks, Las Vegas and all of the coolest, newest and most innovative products around, all in one convenient location? Yep, it's the Consumer Electronics Show for 2003, and this year was looking to be even better than ever.
If you have never been to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), it's a Mecca of all things electronic ... and we mean ALL things. Looking for the latest in mobile audio technology? It's there. How about satellite radio? They had two huge booths, no waiting. How about gargantuan, high-definition plasma televisions? More than you could shake a stick at. What about beautiful women who are constantly trying to get your attention and drag you into their booth to show off their new products? Oh please, this IS Las Vegas, you know.
But come on, what you really want to hear about is all of the cool stereo stuff for your ride, right? Well you wouldn't have been dissapointed. All the big guns were out showing off their latest offerings for the 2003 season. Kicker came out with a huge, 18-inch square subwoofer, Bazooka was showing off their new 6" NOS subwoofer tube and the fine folks at IconTV were showing off their home theater-quality 15-inch in vehicle plasma screen ... too cool!
Like we said, all of the major players were in attendance, as well as some newcomers. But rather than bore you with all of the sordid details, take a sneak peek at some of the stuff you'll be seeing in an upcoming issue of Mini Truckin' Magazine. Stay tuned. In the meantime, check out the booth bunnies. Enjoy!
