Bring the Noize 2006 - Custom Truck Show
Arizona starts off the show season with a bang!
It all started at a pre-show party with the Art Of Noize crew, and we could already tell this was going to be a killer show. As if we didn't get our fill of partyin' it up Friday night, there was also the pre-party at Fuel on Saturday night that was just crazy. The Jager Girls were there and we STILL ran out of Jager! All in all, a good night and the perfect way to start one of Arizona's best shows off right. Special thanks to Adam at Fuel and Oliver for picking up the bar tab, and Eddy for putting up with the racket. There's also a rumor that Joey got bit and that there was an arm-wrestling encounter with some chick body builders, but it's all lies.
So, after some good fun with good people it was time to get down to business on Sunday for the show. We were pleasantly surprised to see such a large turnout for an early-bird Arizona show. With over 200 rides and 2,500 spectators, there was plenty to see and do all day long. The show was actually so big this year that it outgrew its current venue and will be moving to a new location for next year's show. All in all, everything went smooth and the Art of Noize crew threw another great show that went off without a hitch. First place "Mini-Truck Wild" went to Kurt and Auto Core for their body-dropped crew cab Colorado, 2nd place went to Ryan Gibson for this month's cover Frontier, and 3rd place went to Clint McDowell with the Pink Frontier. "Club Participation" went to Freaks of Nature, who were holdin' it down all weekend.
A very special thanks goes out to the presenting sponsor, Air Zenith, and all the other companies that helped make the show a reality, including Domination the Video, The Interior Shop, VT Kustomz, Street Beat Customs, Auto Core, Lowlife Video, Fuel Motorsports Cafe, and Grunion Fabrication.
