2006 Texas Heat Wave Show - Custom Truck Show
If there's one thing that July brings, it's the heat. Smack-dab in the middle of summer, the sun scorches the Earth and holds no prisoners. If there is one place in this country where the sun blasts more than anywhere else in the United States, it would definitely have to be Texas. They say that everything is bigger in Texas. Let us just say that everything is hotter in Texas, too. This even includes the hot sauce.
The weekend of July 21-23 was home to the Heat Wave show in Austin, Texas. It is a show that everyone strives to be at and they absolutely melt once they are present. Heat Wave is always a haven for people to bust out with hard-hitting new rides. This year was no different, as Anthony "Ant" from Relaxed Atmosphere busted out hard with his much-awaited Isuzu p'up extra cab (featured in June 2004's Construction Zone). Anthony's Isuzu is definitely one of the cleanest minis on the show circuit this year.
Texas Heat Wave always has one of the most killer "Best of Show" trophies every year. This year was no exception, as Kaik Products pulled out a hunk of billet that any foundry would be proud of. The Texas flag was inlayed with red, white, and blue, and the rest was polished to a high luster.
The Texas Heat Wave crew would like to thank all who participated in this year's show. They would like to give special thanks to Kaik Products, Ample Audio, Budweiser, Circuit City, Meguiar's, Memphis Audio, Nitto, O'Reilly's, Power Acoustik, Rockford Fosgate, and Scion.
