Severed in the Southwest is Arizona's longest-running truck show. This year, the Severed crew pulled out all the stops to make it the best show in the state.
They offered what some other shows just can't: live entertainment. And that means not just having a DJ who plays music throughout the day, but also having live performances like Rooster Coupe Deville with their hip '50s rockabilly sound. Also, AZ rap group Tunnel City (TC) hyped up the afternoon hours.
Along with all the live music, they held the Southwest version of the "Minitrucker Olympics," pitting clubs against each other for top honors in everything from testing their welding skills to racing on the bungee track. Not to be forgotten, hundreds of sick trucks and cars came from around Arizona and several surrounding states. Competitors lined up to show off their laid-out trucks for the drag competition in hopes of being crowned the lowest truck.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Castle and Coasters in Phoenix. We hope to see you all there. Be ready for another exciting show!
