12 Days and Counting

Go-Ez/Dragger's Inc. and friends (714-630-0600, 1330 N. Blue Gum Ste. A, Anaheim, CA 92806) have the grueling task of completing Events Producer Eddy Cebreco's 1993 Toyota Pickup. Torn to pieces, brought to bare metal, and gutted completely, these guys are faced with the tremendous task of getting this truck back together, painted, and delivered to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, in under 12 days. These pictures, snapped during lunch and only hours old, portray exactly where the truck stands.
On the bright side, it is a completely sick build, as you can already see from the framework and bodywork. Through energy drinks, motivation, and sleepless nights, this truck will look completely different in two weeks. There is still tons of work to be done on this wicked 'Yota, but in the end, it will all come together; isn't that what deadlines are for, after all? In fact, this frantic buildup process witnessed today seems to be the common plight for many SEMA vehicles, as the show always sneaks up on everyone.
In closing, I have one hint - do not bug anyone involved in the "SEMA crunch" right now, as they are understandably super stressed out! Keep up the good work!
The amazing transformation of Eddy's truck did take place during those short twelve days, and we have the pictures to prove it! Tucked nicely into the Air-Zenith booth at the SEMA Show, notice how the crazy framework and exterior bodywork compliment the custom, clean, and classy looking right-hand drive interior. True to mini-trucker fashion, this 'Yota also lays out hard over big rims.
