2010 Slamily Reunion - Custom Truck Show

Two Years Strong

If you're the guys at KEG Media and Aftermath, how would you top what could have easily been the biggest first-year show in the Midwest in recent memory?

Easy-host the second edition of Slamily Reunion. Sure, it's not so easy to just whip up a big event overnight, as long hours went into making sure this year's festivities lived up to the hype. This show has taken off so well that people were making plans for this year's show immediately after last year's was over.
There were already 200 rides registered and put to bed in the show grounds on Friday night, which is always a good sign for a show starting the following morning. The early registrants were rewarded with some pretty cool goodie bags filled with DVDs and shirts-some bags even had money inside with bills ranging from twenties to C-notes. So far, the Friday night tradition for those in attendance early has consisted of visiting the many watering holes located in beautiful downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Ten o'clock Saturday morning came too soon for everyone who was out the night before, and greeting them bright and early were 100-plus-degree temperatures. Show spectators had box fans running off generators, and cases of bottled water were being sucked dry by the minute it seemed. But even the scorching heat could not keep people from getting out and checking out the trucks, hanging out with good friends, and eyeing what the vendors had to offer.
On Sunday, all the Aftermath guys wrapped up the judging and ushered everyone inside the air-conditioned hall to help them cool down before they witnessed some of the sweetest trophies ever awarded at a truck show. When the time came to roll out, everyone was already talking about how much bigger and better the third installment of the show will be next year.
If you missed out this year, make sure to plan ahead because the third-annual Slamily Reunion will certainly outshine the first two.
