Performance Online Open House
First Time Show Shines Bright
Performance Online staged an Open House recently and the Truckin crew was on hand to capture all the action and to see what new products the longtime supplier had on display for the truck market. Held at its headquarters in Corona, CA, the parking lot quickly filled up with a variety of Chevy-based customs as well as a good cropping of Ford’s with the occasional oddball to break things up a bit, including a ’59 Rambler Cross Country wagon built up as a gasser. Although the majority of the customs that showed up were of the car persuasion, there were some impressive trucks that made their way to hang out on a Sunday.
For the truck side of POL’s business, there were showing off their many quality parts like tubular control arms, a high quality frame C-notch kit that fit ’63-72 C10s like they came that way from the factory, as well as an entire frame that highlighted some of their performance bolt-on kits like a trailing arm crossmember kit with a beefy 2-link , disc brake conversion kit with drop spindles and a relocated fuel tank. POL also had music , fresh food tempting the noses and stomachs of show-goers, a raffle later on in the day, and an oval track of cones set up for the kiddies to drift the electric go-carts like they were going for podiums and prize money. For a first time show, POL had all their ducks in a row and Truckin hopes that this show will grow in the future.
