Lincoln College of Technology to Host Cruise-In For Vision
Charity Car Show Comes With $250 Top Prize
We think one of the best ways to enjoy a summer Saturday is roaming a great car, truck, and motorcycle show. If you're of the same mind, check out the Bosma Enterprises Cruise-In for Vision, hosted by the Lincoln College of Technology. This charity car show, happening July 18 from 8 am to 2 pm at Lincoln's Indianapolis campus, will raise money for the Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation.
Sweetening the deal for potential participants is the $250 prize for the best entry in show, as well as more than 25 other specialty awards. Pre-registration goes until July 16 and costs $10, while day-of registration is $20. Guests will also have access to food, raffles, and other competitions, and all types of vehicles will be welcome at the event, including modern and classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
The event's beneficiary, the Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation, helps raise funds for Bosma Enterprises. That organization provides valuable programs and services to Indiana's blind and visually impaired, helping the population find meaningful employment, receive education, and live independent lives. This is the first year the Lincoln College of Technology will host the event on the campus.
One of the coolest things about the event is how simple and easy it will be to contribute to a good cause. With Lincoln's backing, it's all but guaranteed that some pretty awesome metal will enter the show, so charity will be as simple as enjoying your favorite hobbies. If you enter, be sure to let us know how your ride did, and take lots of pictures!
