The first weekend of August can mean only one thing to all automotive fanatics. It's time for the 2015 Slamboree Custom Car, Truck, and Bike Show, held once again at the Grand Casino Hotel and Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma and it's a must for anybody who loves custom rides from all over the country. Drawing from a multi-year history, this is one of the many great shows that have evolved in the Midwest and South and has taken advantage of the great weather and support for the sport. Besides the heat, the only thing hotter was the abundance of show goers who turned out in attendance to make it the biggest Slamboree presented by Big Show. Located about 30 miles east of Oklahoma City on HWY 40, the Grand Hotel and Resort provided a great gathering area for the 2015 event. His year, almost 300 cars, trucks, and motorcycles showed up and gave it their all to try to take home just one of the many coveted trophies. This year's offerings did not disappoint any vehicle enthusiast in attendance as there was a wide range to of vehicles. From custom classic hot rods, to body dropped full-size trucks on 28-inch billets, even a custom semi to round out the pack. Toys for Tots were set up so the very generous folks in attendance and the vehicle owners could give a toy or two to those less fortunate. With the amount of quality vehicles on display, it proves this is a show that has grown over the years and will continue to gain popularity in the future.
