LGE-CTS had its 15th annual Custom Rod Show and Open House recently and the show was slightly bigger than in recent years as more folks came out to support their favorite custom shop. It's a great way to show off LGE-CTS's handiwork as many of the customized vehicles they had completed were on hand to show support. LGE-CTS was even kind enough to show folks around their shop facilities to let the public see where the magic happens as well view some projects that were still in progress. The quality of the vehicles that were on display were second to none as customers brought their projects as well as friends of the shop had brought out their custom trucks to show off and trade stories. A few of the employees had even brought out their personal trucks to put on display. Our own Project Speed Bump '67 Ford F-100 was proudly on display in its cab-off form and was in the paint and body shop receiving a few coats of love from the expert painters at LGE-CTS sitting next to its almost finished chassis. There were noticeably more vendors and more attendees than in recent years which means that this show is growing and for good reason too. Alpine Electronics was on hand to show off their new products as well as Icon Suspension, FABTECH Motorsports, Toyo Tires and the Sand Sports Super Show were talking to the crowd about their upcoming event. LGE-CTS had provided water, energy drinks, and a few coolers of beer to keep the crowd cool in the late afternoon heat. The show started strong and continued that way long after the sun went down. This is definitely a show to have on your calendar for next year. For more information go to www.lge-ctsmotorsports.com or www.facebook.com/LGECTSMotorsports.
