The 2016 edition of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo Powered by General Tire ripped its way into the Fairplex in Pomona, California. The Expo is always a good time to cruise around and see the latest the off-road world has to offer with a healthy dosage of music, demonstrations, and race vehicles flinging dirt in the mini-track. With the weather cooperating, the crowds in attendance were free to mosey around and stop by the various booths to look for and purchase products for their off-road rigs. There was a slight shift in the display vehicles as race trucks, Jeeps, and UTVs seemed to dominate the areas between the halls. There were still plenty of trucks sporting huge lifts, beastly tires, and tough-looking bumpers, but it seemed the focus was more on off-road specific vehicles. Off-roading of all types is usually a family oriented pastime. That was represented at the Expo with all the parents and kids who were having an equally great time. Taking over the whole of the Fairplex, each year this event seems to grow in size. More vendors were on hand to answer the call of show goers who were hungry for new products. This yearly show is worth the trip to the Fairplex and should be on everyone’s calendar. For more information go to www.offroadexpo.com.
