Kalacas Cruise for Cancer
Raising Money for the Right Reasons
Kalacas Car and Truck Club hosted their second-annual show in Moreno Valley, California, on November 13, 2016. At 17 years young, one of the members of Kalacas was diagnosed with stage-two thyroid cancer, and now their goal is to raise as much money for cancer research as possible. These guys are diehard mini-truckers, so the only thing that seemed to make sense to them was to host a truck show at the local Round Table Pizza.
The show was full of all sorts of custom vehicles from lowriders to super cars to body-dropped fully custom trucks. Clubs rolled in all afternoon, set up their EZ-ups, and headed into Round Table to grab some delicious pie. The DJ set up next to his custom lowrider and spun great tunes all day long.
At the end of the day the trophies were handed out, everyone had a great time, and Kalacas raised a few thousand dollars for cancer research. All in all, it was a great day to hang out with friends and donate to a great cause. Kalacas would like to thank Addictive Concepts, Aftermath Designs, and Air Ride Equipment for the awesome trophies, as well as Grinder-TV and Round Table Pizza for letting them take over their parking lot. They will be back next year so make sure you keep an ear out for future dates and details. For more information go to www.facebook.com/kalacas.socal.1.
