After the calendar flips over to a new year, tech companies gather in Las Vegas, Nevada, for The Consumer Electronics Show. CES is the ultimate place companies big and small debut their new products, as well as meeting with buyers from around the globe.

The mobile audio, video, and electronics companies on display are only a drop-in-the-bucket compared to some other segments in the tech industry. But the over-the-top vehicles in their booths attract a ton of attention and help highlight the latest options to make your truck go boom! Some thunderous low notes floated out of the Kicker Audio area. There you could find a Ram ProMaster Passenger Van boasting 5,000 watts of Q-Class amplification and a dozen aluminum enclosures loaded with L7QB8 Subwoofers.

Many of this year’s manufacturers were introducing new ways to enjoy your vehicle sound system without having to resort to a high-end budget. JL Audio introduced its C1 Coaxial Speaker options touting them as direct factory replacements to upgrade the stock speakers behind your doors, pillars and kick panels. If you were looking to go high-end, the company also introduced Ultra-Premium C7 Components in its Sky Villa Suite at The Palms.

Over in the Alpine Meeting Room, many of their 10-inch dash systems were available for viewing and the Alpine ICE Cooler with Bluetooth Connectivity grabbed a lot of attention as a way to take your tunes with you outdoors or use them right from the bed of your truck. It sounds great and holds plenty of cold beverages!
This year, the Consumer Electronics Show had more trucks on display than in several of the past events. We hope this trend continues with manufacturers developing even more new products for the truck, SUV, and UTV market.
