Lonestar Throwdown 2017
The Truckin' mag crew made the trek out to truck haven Texas this year on the hunt for some of the baddest, ground-scraping and cloud-touching rides that the states have to offer. With record-breaking numbers—yet again—Lonestar Throwdown 2017 is the very first truck show to ever sell out of all 2,000 pre-reg spots in advance. They had to close registration early to help keep the crowds under control. With the allotted 2,000 rides in attendance from February 24 to 26, along with a massive amount of some of the industry’s biggest names, people came from as far as both coasts to witness this massive truck festival of all things truck.
From lifted to slammed, there was definitely more than enough of both to satisfy the tens of thousands of spectators who came through the gates over the long weekend in Conroe, Texas. The Lone Star Expo Center was filled with the baddest trucks as far as the eye could see. We brought you a huge gallery from the overall coverage, but we wanted to give you even more eye candy with some of our staff's favorites. So grab your favorite cold brew and check out some extended LST coverage of our top picks. For even more photos, check out the story at trucktrend.com.
