Relaxing in SoCal 2017, Presented by Cook’s Tire & Tune
Relaxed Atmosphere at its Finest
With show season in full effect, the custom-truck scene in Southern California has a lot to be happy about. Great weather, a huge diversity of custom trucks, and a strong tradition of truck clubs are just some of the reasons SoCal is an awesome place to be this time of year. Custom club Relaxed Atmosphere also has a long tradition of putting on a great yearly show. The show used to be at the Alpine headquarters in Torrance, but had since moved to the spacious parking lot of the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Their Relaxing in SoCal has become a destination show for truck owners from near and far.
Despite a freak bout of spring rain that put some of the patrons off this year, the number of custom trucks did not dwindle. The show goers were met with some light sprinkles throughout the day, instead of the normal sunshine, along with plenty of trucks, a bevy of food trucks, and a long list of vendors. Local tire shop and a favorite among the custom crowd Cook’s Tire & Tune was again the presenting sponsor and their representatives were out in force. They even brought their shop dog Murphy along for the festivities. This one day show is always a hoot and should be on everyone’s calendar due to its relaxed nature and ample show grounds.
