Shoreline Showdown 2017
Party in the O.C.
As a supreme Spring Break location, Ocean City, Maryland, is home for up to 8 million visitors annually. The Ocean City Boardwalk & Inlet, which are located right off the oceanfront, is a popular destination based on its nightlife, two amusement parks, and breathtaking sunsets. For the past 17 years, the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City was the home to OC Car & Truck Show hosted by Live Wire Media. But the promoter Brad Hoffman met with East Coast Minis members Cliff Somers and Jeff Wooten to develop with a bigger event.
After brainstorming ideas, the three masterminds came up with the idea to create an all-truck show on Sunday and with that, Shoreline Showdown was born. For their first official truck show, Ocean City gained a new home for custom trucks, as many clubs and participants came from all over to enjoy Maryland’s sunny weather and beautiful trucks. Brad created a film festival for car and truck owners to create and design their own short film and have it debuted inside the spacious auditorium.
Brad, Cliff, and Jeff wish to thank everyone that came out to support and enjoy Shoreline Showdown during its first year and can guarantee that it will only get bigger and better. Most of the show proceeds were donated to the Driven to Cure Organization, which benefits cancer research and helps raise awareness for the disease. If you are looking for great food, fun times, and hot trucks, Shoreline Showdown is a show you don’t want to miss. Visit www.OCcarshow.com for future dates and more information.
