Showoff Car & Truck Show: Where the Heart Is
Where the Heart Is
When Kyle “Pickle” Garza decided to hold his first show, called Showoff, his goal was to combine all cultures, ages, and tastes into one, as well as to bring exposure to the truck community. After having a son a couple years ago, Kyle realized he needed a tradition and wanted to raise his son in this culture. “I wanted to provide spectators with an experience that would make them be excited and look forward to the next event.” Kyle says. “This was going to be an event everyone could enter and enjoy.”
Showoff, hosted by Texas Garage, now in its second year, has grown to new heights. Located in spacious Brazoria County Fairgrounds in Angleton, Texas, about one hour from Houston, more than 250 custom trucks were in attendance, along with over 800 spectators. Although the bi-polar Texas weather flaunted weather ranging from 100 degrees and sunny to rainstorms and everything in between, Showoff was a huge success. DJ Paul provided live music all weekend. Club games like milk chug, a pickle-eating contest, tire toss, and truck limbo are always a fun time.
Kyle would like to thank all the sponsors, including Alamo Custom, All-Out Offroad, AVS, Chassis Fab, Chucky's Kustoms, Drops R Us, Everything Low, Garage Gear Clothing, I-Detail, JC Designz, La Cajita Fruit, Lil 1 Kustomz, On D Gas, PI Clusters, Reklez Suspension, Sunday Funday Brand, The Setup.Biz, Top-Line Performance, Trokiando, and Will Works Fab for their support.
