Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo Powered by General Tire
Good Clean and Dirty Fun
Fans of playing in the dirt got three full days of it at the Pomona Fairplex when the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo Powered by General Tire came back to Pomona, California. The entire fairgrounds was taken over by hundreds of exhibitors that lined the walkways and filled the exhibit halls with the latest and greatest of what the off-road world had to offer.
Thousands of spectators poured through the gates to see all the cool displays and awesome vehicles that usually spend their time caked in mud, climbing up some rocky trail or blasting across a desert landscape in search of some dusty glory. The offerings for show goers were quite diverse as Smittybilt, Rubicon Express, and Pro Comp held their mini-Rubicon Trail course. They had a pretty serious Jeep JK set up for folks to strap in and take a very bumpy ride-along, so they could see and feel what it’s like to conquer a pretty technical trail.
The amount of aftermarket parts available was staggering and attendees wasted no time scooping up parts for their off-road rigs, whether that be some new headlights, a five-point harness, a lightbar, or even some show-exclusive apparel from their favorite outfitter. People had a whole bunch of good stuff to look at. And this being a family friendly event meant there was plenty for the kiddos to enjoy.
The MAV TV proving grounds was abuzz all day with demos and professional riders hitting buggies, ATVs, and miniature trophy trucks manned by miniature drivers flinging dirt and tire chunks in all directions. If you are a fan of all things dirt-related, this show is for you.
