Mini Trucks in the High Desert

The Southern California Mini Truck Council has been running strong for over 40 years representing all of the custom clubs in SoCal. Every year, with the help of host club Seductive Minis, they organize the Getting it all Together truck run to celebrate the spirit of what being a mini trucker is. All of the local clubs were represented in this three-day event and had come out to see their friends and fellow mini enthusiasts for a long weekend. This particular event is mostly a low-key affair that has the clubs intermingling, consuming some adult beverages, and stories are told around the campfire.

This year, the weather had smiled upon the high desert of Mojave River Forks campgrounds, located just outside the city of Hesperia, and offered mild temperatures, clear skies, and the perfect setting for a proper mini truck show. The SoCal mini truck scene has always been low-key and stressed togetherness as was evident with the way the trucks were placed in the display area with everyone just next to each other so that truck owners and clubs could cross over and see what is being produced out in mini-land. If you are a mini trucker in the SoCal or surrounding area and want to go to a very relaxed show and enjoy the sights, then this is a show that should definitely be on your radar.
