Sparks in the Ozarks 2017
Hot Times, Cool Nights
For the 12th straight year, Richard Bruner and his Definite Obsession truck club held their annual Sparks in the Ozarks show in Noel, Missouri. The show first began as a fundraiser for a kidney transplant for fellow member Dave Swanson and has grown into one of the largest shows in Missouri. Held in the River Ranch Resort, in Noel along the banks of the Elk River, this is an old-school camping-encourage truck run that has just grown year after year.
With lots large sponsors and vendors onboard like Atoms Graphics, Boonedock Kustoms, Dirtbag Hi-Way, DropEm, Gooch Customs, Graphic Disorder, Hammered Weekend Wear, KIK, LayinBody, Lay N Licks, Puds Paint & Fab, Stripes by Mike, Tuckn, Sparks has elevated their weekend event. Plus, ThorBros donated tons of air-ride equipment to raffle for KIK and its Hurricane Harvey relief fund.
While the daytime event of custom trucks and relaxing by the water, the nighttime atmosphere is always exciting, with costumes, club games, and a bikini contest as the highlight. Although the cabins on the grounds of the River Ranch Resort fill up quickly, Sparks in the Ozarks is an event you can’t miss. Their dates for Sparks 13 have already been set for October 5 to 7 in 2018, so keep your eyes peeled on Facebook.com/SparksInTheOzarks to find out more.
