2015 Diesel Power Challenge Entrants - You Pick The Players

Choose who you want to see on Diesel Power Challenge XI

The Diesel Power Challenge has come a long way in less than a decade of existence. The first DPC was won by an ’02 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD using a single-turbocharged Duramax, and now it’s not uncommon for a truck’s spec sheet to list three turbos and more than 2,000 lb-ft of torque. It’s still amazing, just not unusual, and that’s exactly what we like to see!
The invitation-only DPC is all about performance under pressure. So, regardless of details written on paper (or attached to an email), the trucks you choose from the collection presented here must compete against each other in the real world. Similar to 2014, the overwhelming number of Ram entries has led us to make the pool of potential Ram competitors 20, and once again there are 10 Fords and 10 GM trucks to select from. It’s from these 40 entries that you must choose your top three Fords, GMs, and Rams. The top three vote-earning trucks from each group will get the call to compete against each other, and also against last year’s winner, Lavon Miller, and his ’04 Dodge Ram 3500.
You must vote for three trucks of each make, and you may only vote for each truck once per ballot. Sorry, but no photocopies, photos, faxes, emails, or courtroom sketches of the original ballot will be accepted. All voting must be done with an authentic printed ballot from the magazine. However, there is no limit to the number of ballots you can send in. So, choose the trucks you most want to see compete in Diesel Power Challenge XI and be sure to get your votes mailed in by April 1, 2015!
We received lots of entries for Diesel Power Challenge XI, and while most arrived via email, that doesn’t mean the paper ballots got any less attention. Rest assured, we read every single DPC entry form, and anyone who submits an entry by the deadline gets a fair shot at making it into the magazine for voting by the readers of Diesel Power. The only reason we included twice as many Ram trucks is because we received more than twice as many entries from Cummins fanatics.
