If there is a singular event that has come to define the need to have an all-purpose rig at Diesel Power Challenge, the trailer towing obstacle course is the one. Without question one of the toughest segments of the competition, the course has derailed more hopes and dreams through the years than nearly any other contest at DPC.
In true fashion, 2016’s event provided more of the same drama, tension, disappointment, and excitement we have come to expect over the last decade.

Top 3 – Trailer Obstacle Course

1. Neal Torley 1:11.96 seconds
2. Charlie Keeter 1:18.90 seconds
3. Ray McClelland 1:25.97 seconds
Photo 2/12   |   Although David Ferguson mangled a bunch of cones during his run, his wide-open driving style was amazing. This photo captures Dave’s ’05 Ford F-350 and the DPC trailer in a drift on the last turn!
Photo 3/12   |   Neal Torley’s driving skills were razor sharp at every point of the trailer tow obstacle course. Neal jockeyed his ’08 Ford F-350 to a clean run and a finishing time of 1:11.96 (the next-closest time was 1:25.00)!
Photo 4/12   |   Charlie Keeter tries to spool the turbochargers at the starting line, while his fellow DPC competitors spool their phones up for photos and video of Charlie’s mirror-less run through the trailer tow obstacle course.
