Custom truck and car club, Decades Deep hosted their 7th annual custom show, Cruisin Thru The Decades at the Madera Fairgrounds. The show was chock-full of custom trucks, cars, motorcycles, and even pedal bikes. Fullsize Chevy’s on huge billet wheels dominated the show field, but there was good crop of mini-trucks, vintage, and lifted trucks to round things out. C/10 Apparel’s booth was surrounded by countless custom C/10s and insanely detailed K5 Blazers, and Timmy Fresh Brand’s booth was the place to be if you enjoy a classic or custom pedal bikes. From Low Riders to Classics, Cruisin Thru the Decades had it all.
The entire day was packed full of activities, such as the Club Tug of War and Decades Pong (oversized beer pong) where the grand-prize winners received not only a cash prize but a bottle of Muerto Tequila. The Vehicle Limbo was a huge hit, and all winners were given a free SS Bag presented by Slam Specialties. Winners also received a custom laser-cut plaque.

They had a beer garden right smack dab in the middle of the show, which by the way raised $1,107 for the Veterans Golden Age Games. BBQs were welcomed, but if you or your club did not bring one out, don’t worry. They had both a BBQ and taco vendor on site. There were live bands on the stage and a DJ playing music in the show area to make sure you had something to listen to at all times.
At the end of the day, they hosted a huge raffle with tons of great prizes, followed up with their trophy presentation. All the awards were hand built by Decades Deep members, and you could tell they had spent some time on them. AVS, C/10 Club Apparel, Duff’s Garage, Joe’s Mobile Tint, Martinez Custom Painting & Rodz, Muerto Tequila, Slam Specialties, Timmy Fresh, Universal Solutions, Inc., and Wicked Kreations made this event possible with their generous sponsorship. A shout out has to go to the club members of Decades Deep, as they definitely know how to throw a show. They have already locked down a date and location for the 2017 event and have it listed on their website, so keep this show on your calendar. For more info visit www.decadesdeepshow.com.
