Seductive Truck Club Cruise Night

Inland Empire Representin’

The mini-truck community is alive and kicking in the Southern California area. When many had given up on the scene and had let it move to central and northern Cali, and to other parts of the country, a handful of clubs kept the flag flying. One of those clubs is Seductive, which has been around for over three decades serving the scene with custom minis. Their founder and club president, Dan Larson, is also the current president of the Southern California Mini Truck Council (SCMTC). He wears many hats to bring new life and new members back to the area that started the mini-truck scene back in the late ’70s and early ’80s.
President of the Inland Empire chapter, Brian “Biggie” Ellis, invited Truckin to hang out at Galaxy Burger in Ontario (same location for the SCMTC Show N Shine 2016), and we were treated to an awesome evening that represents what is great about the scene: lots of laughs, music blaring from the individual trucks, kids running around soaking up the amazing rides, and an openness that allowed other clubs to come by and share the night.
Seductive Worldwide mini-truck club puts on the monthly cruise night and the attendance varies throughout the year, but these cruise nights are extremely important to the scene and for the club itself. Seductive is part of a network of truck clubs in Southern California that have regular Saturday meets each month and take over the parking lots of local burger places. All the cruise nights take place in and around the Inland Empire and have a steady stable of attendees who are not only members of their clubs but representatives of the mini scene as a whole. These clubs are what the scene is built on and do their part to help keep it thriving. The cruise nights are open to anyone and free to attend, so if seeing a bunch of built trucks and making some new friends is up your alley, make a plan to head out one Saturday to a club cruise night.
