Lakeside Chilling at Last Resort 2016
8th annual custom truck show in Jennings, Louisiana
When Stuart Daigle started Last Resort in 2008, the goal was to provide a laid-back style show for truck enthusiasts throughout his local Louisiana area. What he hadn’t expected was that it would take off to enormous reception. Truck numbers have increasingly grown every year, and this year marked the highest participation numbers, coming in with more than 500 trucks. Hosted by KIK clothing, Last Resort was held at the spacious Louisiana Oil and Gas Park over the course of three days, making for a very full weekend.
The park, which surrounds a large body of water, provides plenty of room for camping and cooking out for those who wanted the outdoor experience. Friday night after the truck and vendor roll-in, there was a Hospitality Night with authentic Cajun cuisine. Saturday night the DJ Get Low was live on stage for those who wanted to enjoy the after party. Sunday gave everyone a casual feel and tons of trophies were awarded.
Stuart and his wife Colette wish to thank everyone who participated by entering their vehicles, and everyone who came out to enjoy the event. He also wishes to thank the vendors for their long standing support of Last Resort, as well as for being respectful and keeping the showgrounds clean and fun for all.
