SEMA 2014 – Top 40 Diesel Wheels
Where Stock "Rolling Stock" is Not an Option
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is packed with awesome diesel project rigs -- big lifts, extreme drops, custom paint, and modded bodywork -- and we haven’t seen one that’s been left standing on stock wheels. All of the diesel trucks (and rat rods) you see here are blessed with rims that can turn heads while supporting the weight of 3/4- and 1-ton pickups and super-huge medium-duty diesels.
Here’s a look at 40 of our favorite wheels we’ve seen on diesel projects in and around the Las Vegas Convention Center where all of the SEMA 2014 action takes place. In this gallery, you’ll see everything from ghost flames and skulls to 50-caliber bullets used as wheel bolt covers. Some are mounted on massive knobby tires, and some use barely visible black rubber bands for traction. There are drag wheels, off-road wheels, and wheels designed for (dubious) style. There’s everything.
The best part is: almost every wheel shown here is available for you to order, so you can go just as wild as the creators of the awesome diesel rigs of SEMA 2014. With wheels being one of the easiest ways to modify a truck’s appearance, feel free to peruse our gallery and get some inspiration for your ride.
