SEMA Show 2014 – The Off-Road Hall
Exploring The Land of Lift Kits
It’s been said (by trusted sources, mind you) that the SEMA show is the largest single event that Las Vegas hosts each year. We have no reason to doubt that claim. With that said, it should come as no surprise that trying to take in the entire show is quite the feat. We spent an entire day, from and hour before the doors opened until and hour after they closed, only walking the upstairs of the south hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. For those unfamiliar, this hall is also known as the “Truck and Off-Road” hall. Yeah, it’s a good one.
This year was filled with the standard collection of every variation of Jeep Wrangler JK imaginable, along with a couple TJs tossed in to remind us they still exist. On the pickup side, the 2014 GM 1500s and 2015 GM 2500s stole the show. There were Silverados and Sierras around each corner, which is certainly not a bad thing. A handful of 2015 Ford F-150s could be found, along with some Tundras and Tacomas to keep it real.
Overall, the hall was jam packed with amazing customized vehicles, and more new and amazing products than any one individual could see in a day. So with that said, let’s check out some photos!
