2016 SEMA Show North Hall #TENSEMA16
Hidden Gems in the Forgotten Hall
The SEMA Show always has its superstars, and the companies that want center stage usually grab the Central or South Halls. The North Hall usually consists of smaller vendors, paint and body, detail and other companies some would consider “peripheral” to the main attraction. At first, this author thought he drew the short straw when chosen to cover the hall. However there are a lot of hidden gems in this hall that many overlook. Among them are lots of customized Jeep Wranglers, a Maserati Levante SUV as part of a lift display, tons of customized Yamaha YXZs, Polaris RZRs, and several rat rods. We also came across Utah-based Ruff Tuff Seat Covers that offers an overlay seat cover with a detachable gun pouch. Being from nanny-state California, we had to ask… “Is that even legal?”
We even stumbled across the 2016 Rebelle Rally team of Michelle Davis and Andrea Shaffer with their Sugar Rush Jeep Wrangler in the Whistler Electronics booth! We actually got a Q&A video asking the ladies about their racing experience. Look for it on the Four Wheeler Network show coverage. So if you work in “the biz” and happen to be coming to the show this week, don’t miss the North Hall. It’s definitely worth a walk-through. Stay tuned to the Truck Trend Network for wall-to-wall coverage of the 2016 SEMA Show.
