Our Favorite Jeep SUVs and Pickups from SEMA 2016 - #TENSEMA16
One of the most popular vehicles at the 2016 SEMA Show was the Jeep Wrangler, but there were several other seven-slatters on hand too. Among our favorites were the Jeep Cherokee XJ “Snowhawk” and the entire Omix-ADA showing, which was located in the Off-Road Success Center. Check out both the Snowhawk and Omix-ADA’s vintage beauties in the mini-gallery below.
In addition to those lovely Jeeps, there were also some early CJs and Willys Station Wagons on hand at the Crown Automotive booth, and Pit Bull Tires had a bonkers early Willys custom truck, which was a big crowd pleaser thanks to its unique, Wild West–inspired styling. And as always, there were a bunch of Jeep JK pickup conversions, tantalizing us for the day when we’ll be able to buy a showroom-stock cargo-hauler from Jeep.
One interesting rig, seen below, is the Daystar Products Jeep Renegade. The kit adds 1.5 inches of lift, giving the baby Jeep a little added off-road capability. While it won’t embarrass a built XJ (or even a stock Wrangler), it looks pretty cool and it adds some extra trail skills.
Jeeps are immensely popular with consumers and customizers alike, so their omnipresence isn’t surprising. So sit back and peruse our gallery, and let us know which Jeep vehicles are your favorites.
