#MTSEMA18: SEMA 2018- Truckin’s Monday Preview
Truckin Takes a Hot Lap
When you have a booth at SEMA, like the Motor Trend Group does year after year you have to show up early to get things in shape and ready for the masses that show up Tuesday through Friday. This year that meant the Truckin team had to bring out our recent Week to Wicked project 2017 Chevy Silverado Z-71, complete with an 8-inch Superlift with King Coilovers, bronze 20-inch Mamba wheels, and Hercules 37s, not to mention the Magnuson Supercharger and Gibson Performance stainless headers and exhaust that put 525 horsepower to the ground. Once we got the truck parked and cleaned up, we made a mad dash around the show and got some shots of some of the best of what you’ll be seeing throughout the week.
On the lifted truck front, the outdoor area is covered with them. In addition to a couple of the biggest/tallest builds we’ve ever seen, there were also some 30-inch wheels floating around on some builds. We saw some awesome laid out stuff, too. Phat Phabz is already doing its usual mind-blowing with not one, but two 2019 Silverados lying flat on the ground, and we spotted a ’19 Ram sitting on the tarmac over in the Accuair area. The classics are everywhere, too. It’s looking one of the stars of the show will be the 1976 B-100 from River City Rods. Since these things were Brazilian Market only, the truck itself, and the work that went into it, are really a sight to behold. Add in a couple fully shaved Blazers and a couple dozen C-10s and we think this is going to be an action packed week. Stay tuned for a monster photo gallery coming your way tomorrow, and we’re using the #MTSEMA18 hashtag company-wide so check that out, too.
