SEMA 2015 -- Day One Feature Trucks Coverage
120+ Custom Trucks
SEMA 2015 has unofficially started and the Truck Trend Network was out in force walking the Outdoor Area covering all the best that the blacktop had to offer. Although SEMA does not officially open today, the entire convention center was a whirlwind of activity as booths were still being set up and display vehicle were still being parked in their predetermined spots. The excitement was high as the day ticked away and the show finally started to resemble a finished product, as the mountain of pallets and packaging materials grew ever bigger. The variety of truck builds ranged from finely sculpted lowered trucks with custom frames and sheetmetal beds that let them sit all the way on the ground, to huge and mean-looking lifted trucks that had their suspension upgrades and lift ‘bags chromed and painted for all the world to see, and even a whole corral of purpose-built off-road racers that looked like there were ready to tackle the toughest terrain.
There was a huge array of vintage trucks, that had about an even split between the lifted and lowered crowd, but all were just as expertly crafted and painted as their modern counterparts. All in all, SEMA 2015 is shaping up to be bigger and better than in years past, and the Truck Trend network will be on hand the entire week providing the best coverage. We’ll be walking the many halls, showcasing the latest and greatest that the aftermarket industry has to offer, so keep checking back for new galleries and updated coverage of this sprawling show. Check out our gallery of more than 120 custom trucks, and stay tuned for a lot more to come!
