The 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show (“SEMA” to those who know and love the weeklong spectacle of custom everything) is under way and off to a great start, and on Tuesday, members of the Truck Trend Network walked through row after row of custom vehicles, taking photos and gathering intel on some of the baddest rigs on the planet, that are on display in and around the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Diesel Power Editor KJ Jones was charged with checking out the scene in Central Hall—the virtual hub of the multi-spoked wheel that is the SEMA Show. As expected, slammed, lifted, utilitarian, and high-performance trucks of all sorts are seen throughout the room (diesel, gasoline, electric and even air-powered), as are new pieces for upgrading every aspect of a new, vintage, large, or small pickup.
For many show attendees, Central Hall is where their SEMA Show experience starts. Check out the following gallery for a look at all the truckcentric badness taking center stage in the massive main room of SEMA 2017, and stay tuned to trucktrend.com for details on all the happenings taking place during this exciting week in Nevada.
