Owner says: “My dualie truck has gone to the track numerous times and has laid down a best time of 12.460 seconds. It made 671 hp and 1,456 lb-ft of torque on the dyno and is extremely fast. I love the truck, but it needs to get into the 10s before I’m satisfied. I have head studs, a Fuelab lift pump, and some other tricks up my sleeve being planned.”

Owner says: “My best friend, Jeremy, died six months ago. We were both subscribers to Diesel Power and talked about submitting his truck for Readers’ Diesels. Now that I have my own truck, I figured it might be the right time. I bought my truck five months after he passed away, and my only regret is not being able to drive around and raise hell with him. Jeremy owned an excavation company and lived more in his 23 years than most people do in their whole lives. Please consider putting his truck in the magazine as a last wish.”

Jason says: “I’ve been a diesel enthusiast for years and have had the privilege of enjoying many, many diesels (Ford, VW, and Mercedes-Benz). We are clearly a Ford family. My thoughtful wife, Deirdre, gathered my father and siblings together to take a family picture of all our Fords. She wanted it to remind me of the cool, misty summer days in our hometown of North Bend, Oregon, while I was flying in the 100-plus-degree dusty weather of Kandahar and the Registan Desert in Afghanistan. My other diesel makes 3,100 hp! Can’t wait to send you a picture of the Toyota FJ43 I brought back with me from Bogota, Colombia, with its swapped and rebuilt OM617 Mercedes turbodiesel with a custom intercooler.”

Owner says: “This is my dream truck. I have always wanted a monster truck ever since I was growing up watching Bigfoot and Grave Digger, and now I have one of my own. Contrary to what it looks like, I don’t go mudding with it. I love this truck way too much and spent too much money to have something break. I’ll occasionally go trail riding, but it’s mostly a show truck.”
