Pennsylvania Gets New CNG Dispensers
Sunoco is offering three CNG fueling dispensers at the Pennsylvania Turnpike’s New Stanton Service Plaza. It’s notable because it’s Sunoco’s first CNG offering in Pennsylvania since the 1990s. One will be for passenger vehicles, another for commercial trucks, and the third for off-Turnpike vehicles.

Goodyear Testing Air Maintenance Technology
U.S. trucking fleets are about to become guinea pigs. Seems Goodyear is testing its Air Maintenance Technology (AMT) on commercial vehicles; it’s a research project supported by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Vehicle Technology. AMT is being explored as a way to aid in fuel savings and carbon dioxide reduction while also improving tire life and removing the concept of manually inflating tires. Testing will take place over 18 months as the trucks do their regular driving operations.
