Owner says: “My dad and I originally bought this truck at a bank repo auction for $1,300. It was the very first diesel I ever bought. I currently use it for commuting to the oil fields on a weekly basis. The truck has been rock-solid reliable, and with its basic, well-rounded modifications, it has the fun-to-drive factor as well. This is the one truck I will never part with. My mom nicknamed it ‘Big Red.’ He is definitely part of the family!!!”

Owner says: “I bought this truck in 2007 with only 118,000 original kilometers (73,322 miles). Ever since then it’s been my project truck, and I haven't stopped tweaking it. The biggest modification was the task of converting it to four-wheel drive, and I have to say it’s my favorite modification to the truck. It’s a real head-turner since you don’t see a regular cab 4x4 dualie very often. The next thing on my list is to hit the dyno and see what kind of numbers can be made.”
