Gets Worked

The Log Hauler
Year/Make/Model: ’08 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD
Owner: James Darrigan
Hometown: Niles, Michigan
Engine: 6.6L Duramax V-8
Transmission: Allison 1000 six-speed automatic
Odometer: 140,000 miles
Fuel Economy: 18.5 mpg city, 22.5 mpg highway, and 15 mpg towing
Modifications: EFILive with tuning by “Idaho” Rob Coddens, 4-inch exhaust with 5-inch tip, Sinister Diesel EGR cooler, and 285/75R16 Nitto Terra Grappler tires
Owner says: “This is a log-hauling truck, and it’s my third diesel truck in the past year. I’ve had them all: ’06 5.9L Cummins, ’01 7.3L Ford, and now, my 6.6L Chevy. By far, this Chevy takes the cake. With only EFILive, a 4-inch exhaust (with muffler), and a stock intake, it’s putting down a little more than 400 hp to the wheels.”
