This 2007 Ford F-150 is the Beast

Back in the Game

You can take the man away from the truck culture, but you can never take the truck culture away from the man. Montgomery, Alabama, resident Todd Pierson’s story started at age 17. A warehouse worker for Circuit City, he befriended a co-worker. That guy owned a custom mini-truck and Pierson peppered him with questions about it, as would any eager kid. After months of talking, he eventually purchased the truck and sparked his passion for trucks.
Many years and several trucks later, Pierson was going through a hard time with a failed marriage and a serious car accident. The challenges he struggled through caused him to leave the scene to focus on more pressing matters. He met and fell in love with his now wife Haley who set him back on track. Along with his new love, Pierson decided to find a new truck to start over on again.

His stepfather had a perfectly stock ’07 Ford F-150 that he was no longer interested in. Pierson took over truck payments and began his process with The Beast. His new wife was pregnant, so as a good husband, he convinced her that bodydropping the truck would make it easier for her to enter and exit it. After the Ford was brought to its knees via a bodydrop, he sent it to Ryan Gartman at Insane Custom Paint in Creola, Alabama, to have it all wired up and plumbed.
Pierson continued to add and customize the Ford as he learned more and more from attending the local and national truck shows. His future plans include finishing the bed, the interior, and making sure that the F-150 holds the Acrophobia reputation as high as it’s always been. He wishes to thank his lovely wife Haley for allowing him to work on the truck without ever asking, “How much?” A special thanks to Gartman and all the guys from Acrophobia who helped out. With no sponsors on board, The Beast was an organic creation of Pierson and his visions, starting as a teenage kid working in a warehouse with a truck crazy friend.
