2007 Cadillac Escalade - The Goat
When you were born a car fanatic, it’s pretty easy to predict that no car you will ever own will stay stock. Zach Bishop of Olive Branch, Missouri, describes himself as “coming out the womb swinging lane to lane.” Obviously, his ride will be quite different from what you see on a daily basis. Bishop sees an abundance of all types of vehicles come and go off his lot every day while working as a car salesman. Not once has he ever wanted his own ride to blend in with the crowd. Owning multiple bodied trucks in the past, he had no option other than to progress his next build to an even higher level.
When he decided an SUV was what he wanted to build next, Bishop chose his next build carefully: a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. “I’ve always wanted an SUV, so why not start with one of the nicest and best ones ever made?” With that decided, he had no hesitation choosing who he wanted to knock out this project for him: Jake McKiddie and his crew at Phat Phabz in Oklahoma City. If you have not gotten used to seeing that name tied into sentences with bodydrop, you have surely been living under a rock. Known as one of the best shops in the Midwest, Phat Phabz can easily make a truck (or SUV) owner’s dreams a reality.
Laying this big-bodied SUV out was just the first of many steps of this build to come. Tucking hard on 26-inch Intro wheels is quite an accomplishment, especially when that is one of the first things finished on the build itself, everything else adds on and builds up from there. After debuting the progress on this build thus far at Slamboree in Oklahoma, the windows were left down in the rain overnight. It was a blessing in disguise, and you can look forward to seeing a new interior and stereo system soon while The Goat gets pieced back together. Stay Tuned.
