A Silverado Turned Cheyenne

Most people have a direction when they visualize a truck build. Aaron Garcia of Fort Pierce, Florida, he knew he wanted a truck from an early age and knew he wanted it to stand out among a sea of other trucks. Aaron, who is of Mexican descent, first purchased his ’07 Chevy Silverado from a dealership in Miami as a family vehicle for himself and his wife Felissa. They had started talking about adding to the family, and the four-door truck would be perfect for the growing family. Once the truck was home, Aaron started searching online for way to have his truck stand out and came across a truck he loved that had a Swift Club sticker on the window. From there, he began looking at all the Swift vehicles and the creativeness just blew him away. “It seemed like every truck they had was built better than the next, “Aaron says. “I knew this was the direction I wanted to go.”

Although Aaron’s budget wasn’t at that level, he had big ideas of what could be done. He found Triple T, a local upholstery shop, to add the custom mixture of ostrich and gator material. Once the seats and flooring were complete, he searched for a local fiberglass place, enlisting Diablo’s Customs for the console work. Based on their reputation, Aaron decided that Jimmy’s Rod & Customs would handle the suspension work. Because of their high workflow and creativeness, Jimmy’s always has a wait list.
While he was waiting, Aaron brought the Silverado to Pork Chop at Pork Chop’s Airbrush, where the two of them went through color combos. They decided on a color that would stand out beyond all the others. After it was painted, Jimmy’s was ready to bring the truck closer to the ground with an AccuAir e-Level air-management system that makes the massive 28-inch wheels seemingly tuck inside the truck. The last addition to the Chevy was to add stock Cheyenne badges throughout the entire truck. In Mexico, the Silverado’s have been renamed as Chevy Cheyennes.

Once the truck was completed, Aaron contacted the Swift council members out of California, and within a short period, the Silverado was unanimously voted in. He went from a fan of one of the biggest custom truck clubs in the country to a member. He wishes to thank everyone who helped him along the way, including Pork Chop, Diablo’s Customs, Triple T, Jimmy and Tim from Jimmy’s Rod & Customs, and all his Swift club members for their support. The biggest thanks goes to his loving wife for supporting and pushing him to realize his potential. His wife is currently pregnant with their first child, and Aaron can’t wait to enjoy their family time in Oh So Orange.
