The Pride of Arkansas

Pride is the driving force behind any young man. For Jeremy Penland of Sherwood, Arkansas, his pride is strong for his home state. “Arkansas doesn’t have a professional sports team, “Jeremy tells 8 Lug,” so my support and pride is for our college team.” The Arkansas Razorbacks has been a very successful team and provides good reason for Jeremy’s pride. When it came to advertising his pride, he thought what better than on his ride.
The trick was finding a truck that showcased the attention Jeremy desired. He knew he wanted an HD truck but wasn’t sure which kind. He got together with his good buddy Brooks Swinson who suggested a Dodge. With that insight, Jeremy went to the dealership and purchased a bone-stock 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 HD.
Right out of the gate Jeremy wanted his Dodge higher from the ground. He enlisted Cabot Tire & Off-road in Cabot, Arkansas for the 8.5-inch BDS lift for the new Dodge. Rims and tires always make or break the truck. So when it came time for Jeremy to choose the perfect set for his Dodge, he contacted Rolling Big Power and decided on an aggressive combination of black and polished aluminum 24-inch RBP 96r wheels.

Jeremy decided to accessorize the fresh exterior canvas of his new Dodge by adding Bushwacker fender flares that were paint matched by Busted Knuckles Garage in Cabot, Arkansas. Fusion front and rear bumpers were added for a more aggressive look. A Royalty Core front grille was installed as well as aftermarket headlamps, a Thule roof rack, Rigid LED lights and Amp Research steps. A Tiregate spare tire carrier was added to the rear for easy access.
As most know, a very integral part of any build is making sure that under the hood can keep up with all the new modifications. Jeremy added a Sinister Diesel EGR Cooler delete as well as a full Magnaflow exhaust with DPF filter delete. An H&S performance programmer was added for some extra giddy-up and an AFE air intake was installed by Jeremy himself. A Mag-Hytec differential cover and transmission pan was also installed under the Dodge by Jeremy. For the tunes, Jeremy added a subwoofer box with two 12-inch Kicker subwoofers powered by an Alpine amplifier and Alpine components throughout the inside.
To finish the truck to Jeremy’s liking, he added a four foot long Arkansas Razorback logo on each side made of high quality vinyl. In the front grille Jeremy had a custom-made Razorback logo made of heavy metal mounted to the front grille to show his support. The Dodge has come a long way from stock, and his Arkansas pride shows through everywhere he travels.
