2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Dualie - Six Pack

Making Quick Work of a '15 Dualie

At only 26 years old, Michael Vallery doesn't have a long history of builds under his belt, but as they say, it's about quality not quantity. A native of Forest Hill, Louisiana, Michael spent a lot of his time accompanying his mother to the local Walmart. As she went shopping through the store, Michael would make a beeline to the magazine aisle. He would sit there for the duration of the shopping time reading Truckin magazine and admiring the builds that were featured. He dreamed that one day he would be able to have something good enough to make it in a magazine.

When Michael was 15, his grandmother gave him his late grandfather's '86 Chevy C10 and from there his passion only grew. He began learning the ways of truck building and experienced trial and error making his new truck something to be proud of. As his magazine reading continued, so did his ideas. Michael realized he would need a much larger canvas to create what he truly envisioned. When the brand-new Chevy was introduced in 2014, Michael just absolutely fell in love. So he decided to get ahead of everyone else and get on the waiting list for the 2015.
He received his 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD dualie with the convenience package and almost immediately removed all the badges from the new Chevy. He enlisted Phat Phabrikations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to bring the dualie lower to the ground. The Chevy was given a 5-inch body drop, and a full airbag suspension with AccuAir was installed. Michael had Ike Ray and Cole Stevens partner up on the immaculate paint that boasts of the Blue Topaz metallic with custom graphics and all different shades of blue.

The stock interior on the Chevy was almost perfect from the factory, but Michael still wanted a subtle change. He brought the dualie to Curtis Enochs for slight modifications. Curtis deleted the headrests and wrapped the seats in Katzkin black leather with blue stitching. As every truck enthusiast knows, stereo is an integral part of a build. Tim Smith from Kicker installed a full Kicker system starting behind the head unit and including all the components.
When it came time to fit the wheels, Michael decided to take a unique route for his bodied dualie. He contacted American Force Wheels in Miami, Florida, and the two decided that a set of 24-inch Raptors would complement the Chevy best.

Amazingly, all of this work took place in just a few months, as Michael's dualie made its debut in the American Force booth at SEMA 2014 and made a big blue splash in the sea of monster lifted trucks. Michael wishes to thank his wife Kaylee, all his Severed Ties family worldwide, BJ Allan, Rory Griffith, Tim Smith, Curtis Enochs, Gary Gilliland, Stephen Corkern, Kyle Dimetroff, and most importantly his father for letting him take over his shop.
