When you’re on the cutting edge of vehicle builds, it can certainly get difficult to top each previous build year after year. But somehow, Robbie Bryant, owner of KEG Media, continues to wow crowds each and every year with stunning build after stunning build. Robbie’s added plenty of proverbial notches to his belt by producing show-stopping SEMA builds for both his clients and his personal collection of builds.
SEMA 2015 was no different, and this year Robbie and crew pulled out all the stops producing their vision of how the new Ford Raptor should appear, although with a few slight modifications. OK, OK – slight isn’t exactly the right word here. Nonetheless, the beast you see sprawled before you is exactly what Robbie conjured up while daydreaming what the perfect Raptor would look like in Ford’s new body style. As his the sketches began to fly, he knew the truck was already on order and this build would be in the capable hands of the Five-R Trucks crew. Robbie didn’t hold any punches on the design.

Digging for something truly unique, Robbie and the Five-R Trucks team hashed out the details. With less than three months before the big SEMA show debut, it was time to get down to business. To really beef up the look of the factory F150 EcoBoost, Robbie decided on the complete Addictive Desert Designs makeover. Using their Baja fiberglass fenders and bedsides, the team at Lawson’s Paint and Body quickly worked on the mockup and fitment to ensure the end product would look even better than factory—only much more aggressive. In addition, Addictive Desert Designs bumpers, Chase Rack, and Rock Slider Steps were part of the upgraded A.D.D., look with Rigid Industries new Midnight Series lightbars finding a home in aforementioned bumpers and rack.

The body was coming together nicely which meant there was no time to waste. The Five-R Trucks crew worked up the custom Bulletproof Suspension, Icon Coilovers and reservoir shocks, and Atlas rear leafs to prep for the full Prismatic Powders custom powdercoat treatment on the suspension components. The 12-inch lift left ample room for a set of 24x14 American Force Fuse wheels wrapped with 40-inch Toyo Open Country MTs. Prepping and detailing the rest of the chassis before the final body fitment was no easy task, but with builds of this caliber, it all comes down to perfect details. Details like the custom one-off Rapture grille from Gravel Empire and custom badges from Billet Badges to tie it all together. The matte Grigio and Brushed Bronze Avery Dennison Wrap from Impacted Wraps and Graphics sealed the deal, undoubtedly making this F150 one of Robbie Bryant’s finest creations to date.

With time ticking down to the final hours, Robbie still had a few more tricks up his sleeves. Working with the Alea Leather team, they designed a one-off interior that would set this build above the rest. A custom laser-etched leather interior and custom leather belts to fully match the rest of the one-off details and theme. Rounding out the final details, the EcoBoost engine needed to be brought to life. The perfect combo of AFE Power and SCT Performance was just what the engine doctor ordered. After Walsh Motorsports and Elite Tuning had their way with her, the once modest 3.5L EcoBoost, now boasted upgraded Precision Turbos, AFE, and SCT goodies, and put down a healthy 515hp. Not bad at all for a quickie. It was finished just in time to catch the transport and head to her highly anticipated Las Vegas Debut. Normally, we would say we can’t wait to see what this builder comes up with next, but we actually already know. You don’t want to miss this. Stay tuned to Truckin and we’ll tell you all about it.
