More Than 2,000 Show Up for 2020 Mild 2 Wild Truck Show Sponsored By Made of Steel

Made of Steel 2020

In the midst of COVID-19, there are very few shows and gatherings allowed in Florida. Jeremy Caruthers and his team were able to hold their sixth annual Mild 2 Wild truck show sponsored by Made of Steel in Dover, Florida. The show was held at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds right outside of Tampa, Florida, and it was home to the largest turnout to date. Over 2,300 spectators and 512 registered vehicles came through the gates, and $2,782 was raised for the Kids Cancer Foundation. Even with the threat of Hurricane Isaias barreling down the east coast of the state, Made of Steel stayed safe and dry on the west coast.
A performance by Running Reckless starting things off Friday night, along with a light show and free food for all. Saturday morning, as the trucks and cars were rolling in and getting registered, Jeremy and his hardworking team got everybody judged and parked. Mike Barcia, to no one's surprise, took home the best truck award, and the longest distance award went to John from Detroit.
