2010-2011 Compact SUV Buyers Guide

Hyundai Santa Fe Front View
Hyundai Santa Fe

BASE PRICE RANGE: $22,500-$31,500*

WHAT'S NEW: Both engine options have changed. The 2.7L six has been replaced by a 2.4L four in the GLS and Limited, and the 3.3L six is now a 3.5L V-6 (SE and Limited V6). The automatic is a 6-sp, and the I-4 comes with a 6M. A new alternator management system helps improve fuel economy. Rear spoiler and heated mirrors are now standard.

DRIVER'S CHOICE: The new V-6 is more powerful and more refined--the SE is worth the minor extra cost.

SUM UP: the quiet achiever.
