WHAT'S NEW: Lexus would provide no details at all about the next generation of its midsize luxury SUV, which goes on sale in December (2009 GX 470 pictured). We suspect this 4WD all-terrain traveler will be slightly larger and more refined, seat seven, and swap its current 4.7L V-8 for a new, more powerful/efficient 4.6L, becoming a GX 460 in the process.
ONLY FACT: Parent company Toyota trademarked GX 460 badging nomenclature back in 2007.
