WHAT'S NEW: A fifth model is added to the ML's lineup as the ML450 Hybrid bows in 2010. Powered by a 3.5L V-6 and two electric motors, the Hybrid features an 8-sp tranny that can act as either a fixed-gear automatic or a CVT. Other changes include the renamed and rewheeled ML350 BlueTEC, along with standard burled-walnut trim on all models.

COOL FACT: Hybrid is the only two-mode from GM/DaimlerChrysler/BMW development project employing Atkinson-cycle engine for max economy.
