Winner: Ram 3500 Heavy Duty
Runner-Up: Ford Super Duty F-450

01Z 2010 Best In Class Topline Power Puller Ram 3500 HD
If you're looking for a truck that has enough towing capacity to carry three heavy-duty trucks and enough payload capacity to carry an Xterra in the bed, this is the category for you. These big brutes are all fantastic power pullers, but we still had to pick one winner--this year, it's the Ram 3500 Heavy Duty. Its 7537-pound payload capacity and 16,800-pound towing capacity (4WD crew cab dually Laramie) are fantastic, and the new model adds excellent refinement and ride characteristics, and ultra-low interior noise levels to the mix. As with the work trucks, most of this category will be all-new next year.

In the story I believe the payload for the Ram is a little off.  If we are truly talking about the F-450 it wins hands down.

You listed the Dodge's curb weight as it's payload capacity. Based on your capability chart there is no comparison between the F450 pickup and the dodge or chevy. The Ford has a much greater payload and towing capacity.
