the tundra is a contender. they are good trucks, i consider it before buying my 2012 ram express (great value) the ram interior looks and feels better, the power is right there. i used to be a gm guy, but dodge and now ram are doing the best job for my taste. by the way the value on dodge products is great! i own a 2008 charger too

While Truck Trend and Motor Trend are wild about the Ecoboost, I'm glad GM, Chrysler, and hopefully Toyota didn't fall for that. Even Car and Driver said if you're going to use the Ford for towing, the V8 is better. The Ecoboost has had some problems reported, no great increase in mpg, potentially more expensive to repair turbos, and it cost more money than the proven V8s. The Toyota should have an 8 speed like Chrysler and according to Chevy, the Silverado will have. Ford, Nissan, and Toyota should strengthen their powertrain warranty, too, as they are the weakest among trucks.
