I'm happy to see the improvements of the American trucks . GM always designs beautiful trucks. I still remember my dad's 1979 Chevrolet blazer when it was brand new, oohh yes it was beautiful. The people that say this truck looks like a Honda , don't have any sense .The only I found similar between this two are the round tires. But I respect other opinions. About diesel engines on a middle size truck, that's nothing new, except in USA , in LatinAmerica and Europe, 90% of the middle size trucks including American brands come with diesel engines and Natural Gas as well. It was about time for us to share the same technology and fuel economy. It's a beautiful truck, but I agree about the lower price, compared to a full size truck price. No reason to buy a small and less capable truck for the same price than a full size truck. It has not sense specially when you see such a beautiful 2015 ford f-150 as well, and a fancy dodge ram. As customer I always want to Get the most for my money and a full size truck, has more to offer, but if the price is atractive and reasonable with the truck, no doubt to get one for me. One more thing, why the diesel engine is not available at launch ? Are they still afraid of getting updated with the rest of the world? I love American trucks, I always buy American because I'm American . American trucks are beautiful and reliable , toyota trucks may be good and durable but awful ugly. They don't have any idea about beauty on a design.

Looks like a Honda Ridgeline... It has the same detailed features on the exterior. Besides the retarded ridgeline bed, the front and sides have the same shape and cues. Pathetic that GM has to copy yet another vehicle for their overpriced POS. Ford all the way!

Hmm! The 5 things are 1. Ugly, 2. Ugly, 3. Ugly, 4. Ugly and number 5. Its a Gm vehicle! :/

I'm a technician and I all was pick GM over any other brand they last longer not n the shop like Ford an dodge and as far as Toyota and Nissan's those imports should have stuck to what there good and that's making little cars They should have stayed out of the truck industry and this is coming for a technician that know what comes in an stays out of the shops

Bet the price of this mini sierra is ridiculous. Kinda makes it like why bother if your spending the money of a full size on a mid size. Btw I see the check engine light is on already. Haha

Love GM... hate Ford... starting to like Dodge.... but at the end, who creates a mid or full size crew cab truck that fits a 6´6" driver, gives 30mpg or more in the city, has decent features and luxury, meets all the 2020 security requirements, and costs less than $35K will get my full attention (and my check for 6 years). Period !!! I dont need to tow a 50000 pound boat.. just a decent city driver.......

And ford owes the gov. for an energy dept. loan which they haven't paid one cent back. Search ford gov. loans and you will find it.

^agreed. Like when the Dakotas were still being made in the last few years, they were starting at like 30 grand. Who in there right mind would pay that over getting a fullsize ram for less. The rams start at what, 21? They really need to work that out. The tacomas imo, are horrible for this too.

If any car company wants to be successful in selling a small truck weather it be Ford GM or dodge they need to price them a lot less then a full size truck it doesn't make sense to pay the same price for less truck but the smart people that price them can't realize that and that's why the stop making them

Really looking forward to these two. I prefer the Colorado to the Canyon (IMO, the Canyon would look better w/ a small lift and larger tires). Great pricing on both (saw the Chevy numbers)

This will probably struggle like the dakota and Colorado did years before they were discontinued for a reason.   They are to close in price to the 1/2 ton trucks that the price difference to trade up to a better, more powerful, and more capable truck is so little everyone did it.     The ford ranger worked out well because it was a compact pickup not any bigger then trail blazer (single cab short bed).   Mid size are so close to a full size in everything but payload and towing your better for your money to get a full size.

The ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi got better mileage then the 4.7 v8 dodge dakota did driving around town both with the 5 sped transmissions.   Remember that 1/2 ton trucks are under the same fuel MPG requirement law stuff as the compacts, so wait a few years and then the only reason to buy a midsize or compact will be because the guy who built your house designed a pathetic garage.

Im also kind of appalled that a new truck going to cost upwards of 30k will have "Teen driver safety features"  It is ridiculous, no normal teen will be able to afford this when there is a 70% unemployment rate for them.

Sure it has tech that can control access to stuff on a teen's phone,  but what if he or she like me,  keeps bluetooth, wifi, and gps OFF all the time because they are battery hogs,  then theirs no connection to the phone so the system is defeated, also very easy to un pair the phone from it. Love how they try to replace good parenting with technology.

And ford sales speak for themselves. . The trucks outsell gm 2 to 1.. and out sell dodge 3 to 1..and out sell toyota 6 to 1...on top of that been the best selling truck for 37 straight years...so guess you are the dummy.. hit me with some facts n prove me wrong...
