Winner: Toyota Tacoma
Runner-Up: Dodge Dakota Again, not a lot has changed in this segment: No signs that the Amarok or world-market Ranger are coming here. And we still don't know what's with Mahindra. Bottom line: There's nothing new to take on the champ Tacoma, so it remains the victor. It has added new options (T|X and T|X Pro), and still has the most bed, engine, transmission, and cab choices. It also has the best towing capacity a V-6 can offer, second only to the V-8 Dakota in this class.
